Matwork Classes and Private sessions

classes-matt-1We offer a variety of matwork classes. Read the descriptions below to find the right class for you. If you can’t see what you want then please give us a call and we will see what we can do to help. All our classes run on a school half term basis in a 6 or 7 week block with the option of attending classes during holidays on a pay as you go basis for regulars.

Classes have a maximum of 12 people in them depending upon location. Unlike big gym classes our small classes mean you get plenty of attention and errors in technique can be easily spotted and corrected.

Beginners/Improvers Classes These classes focus on the basic Pilates exercises, improving core strength, control and co-ordination. If you have any back or other joint pain  you must book a private session prior to commencing classes. This allows me to properly assess you movement and keep you safe in class. Its also advisable to have a private session even if you don’t have joint pain so I can teach you the basic Pilates principles and help you develop a better understanding of the Pilates method. This will significantly improve your class experience.

Improver/Intermediate Classes  To join this class you ideally need experience of Pilates and have developed good core strength. Classes are best suited to those who do not have pain and want to challenge their bodies.

We are now offering hybrid classes ie combined face to face and online classes
